Door to Door Delivery, Chicago Style
The transformational acceleration of delivery for just about anything that you can buy these days, large or small, has also transformed the auto industry and the expectations of prospective buyers…However in Illinois and other less progressive states the process hasn’t been as easy to take advantage of due to state regulations which restrict dealers’ ability to conduct transactions and door to door delivery without an, in-person trip to the dealership for the consumer.
In order to modify these limitations for the state of illinois a new bill is in the works that would clear the way for 100% online transactions complete with door to door delivery
State Sen. Patrick Joyce, a Democrat whose district includes a small segment of south Chicago and the majority of Kankakee County shared the following
“It shows we are on pace to bring the vehicle sales industry into the digital age,” Joyce said in a statement to Automotive News. “Not only would this meet the demands of modern consumers, but it would also streamline the car-buying process. Dealers would be able to connect easier with customers and make sales while providing a convenient and secure experience.”
BDC United has generated unmatched success in the BDC space by helping dealers optimize their management of consumer expectations in the rapidly evolving digital economy. We look forward to helping dealerships in Illinois provide the value of 100% online transactions to their customers – complete with door to door delivery – Chicago style.
